LINCOLNTON – Lincolnton City Council unanimously approved the county’s first full-scale brewery around 7 p.m. Thursday, March 1. 3PM Brewing Co., owned by John Brinsfield and Fritz Steckler, will be moving their craft beer business to the historic Eureka Mill.
The first priority is getting the brewery running, but a restaurant, event space and pottery museum are all a part of the plan.
Rhonda Hunter, an entrepreneur specialist with Lincoln Economic Development Association, said she’s been looking for a brewery to fit into the mill, which was built between 1907 and 1910, for the last three years, and things finally started coming together in November 2017. Sewer and water lines are already in place to accommodate the brewery.
Eureka is at 414 Water Street in downtown Lincolnton.
