DENVER – Numerous Denver-area churches are celebrating the fall season with family-friendly festivals. Many offer free games, bounce houses and more.

Beth Haven Baptist Master Club Fall Festival

What: There will be a puppet show, games, inflatables, popcorn and more.

When: 2- 4 p.m., Oct. 27

Unity Fall Festival and BBQ

What: Unity Presbyterian Church will be offering its famed barbecue again this year as well as music and fellowship. Children will have the opportunity to participate in a costume parade, and while the youngsters march down the church halls, adults will be handing out candy and treats – so bring a bag or basket. There will also be a hayride.

When: 5 p.m., Oct. 21

Fall Fun For All

What: Salem United Methodist Church is having a fall festival with main events being a chili cook-off, a hotdog and s’mores roast and games. There will also be an outdoor movie shown.

When: 5:30-8:30 p.m., Oct. 28

Friendly Chapel Baptist Fall Festival

What: This fall festival will have pony rides, a petting zoo, hayrides, pumpkin decorating and bounce houses, among other events. There will also be hotdogs, hamburgers, corn dogs and more. Attendees should wear a costume and bring a bag to fill with treats.

When: Noon to 2 p.m., Nov. 3

Trunk or Treat at Grace Covenant

What: Trunk or treat offers food, inflatables, hayrides and trunks filled with candy.

Fall Festival at Mountain View Baptist Church

What: There will be hay rides, inflatables, dunking booth, face painting, knocker ball, corn hole, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones and other treats. There will also be a hotdog dinner, and children are encouraged to bring bags/baskets for candy and prizes.

When: 2-6 p.m. Oct. 27

Annual Trunk or Treat Festivities

What: Real Life Community Church is hosting a Halloween event with all the usual fall-themed fun, like bounce houses, trunk or treating and food. They’ll also have books and clothing available for people to take home.
