DENVER – Lake Forest Church-Westlake is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Christmas Toy Store in Brunswick County.

This is a way to help families affected by Hurricane Florence who can’t afford to buy Christmas presents.

People can pick up a wishlist on Sundays to get ideas for toys. Unwrapped gifts should be brought to services by Nov. 25.

Take photos with Santa

DENVER – Unity Presbyterian Church members are offering photos with Santa during their Thanksgiving dinner Sunday, Nov. 18.

Pictures will be taken 5:30-8 p.m. in the Unity meeting room. The cost is a donation to the Unity preschool.

Fitness classes coming

DENVER – There will be Ladies Fit360 classes offered at Denver Baptist Church.

A 14-week boot-camp-style workout begins Jan. 7 and is held 9:05-10:05 a.m. Mondays and Wednesday. There will also be a free Fit360 class beginning Nov. 26. Both will be held at the church’s Worship Center.

Breakfast supports building fund

LINCOLNTON – Daniels Lutheran Church will host a country breakfast, open to the public, Nov. 24.

Takeout is available for the breakfast, 7-10 a.m., and a $7 donation is suggested to benefit the church building fund. The youth group will also accept donations for baked goods.

Daniels Lutheran is at 3170 Reepsville Road.
