Due to “significant water use” in eastern Lincoln County, officials are asking for voluntary restrictions on water use.
The goal of the request is to “maintain system pressure and adequate water supply,” Lincoln County Public Works announced Wednesday.
Voluntary restrictions include:
• Watering lawns.
• Filling of pools or topping off pools.
• Washing cars or pressure washing.
• Tapping into fire hydrants for anything other than fire control or other emergencies.
“There is no timeline for when this issue will be resolved but you will be notified upon resolution,” the county said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers.”
