DENVER – The warm weather that Lincoln County residents experienced most of the previous week was a thing of the past on Saturday, Feb. 9, when 30 people took the plunge into the cold waters of Lake Norman to raise money for North Lincoln High School’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The event, at Beatty's Ford Park, raised $3,500, which will be used to help fund the building of a Habitat home in Lincoln County.
