Denver Girl Scout Troop 20018 presents more than 100 "warm and comfort" blankets to Lincoln County first responders. 

Girl Scout Troop 20018 in Denver made 137 “warm and comfort blankets” that were distributed to Lincoln County police, fire and emergency medical workers Tuesday, March 5, at Denver United Methodist Church.

The blankets will be kept in police cruisers, fire trucks and ambulances to help comfort those in need when first responders arrive on the scene. Through their work, the scouts were able to earn their bronze badge for helping the community.

The troop is led by Jeanette Struzinski and “Nana” Pat Connors. The scouts who made the blankets are Riley Hughes, Avery Reinkin, Megan Sigmon, Ellie Struzinski, Elayna Connors, Nickolette Eprarifania, Megan Arnett, Gracie Freizer, Ellery Mooney, Katelyn Grass, Hannah Newman and Bailey Dibble.
