Scouting for Food

DENVER – Boy Scout Troop 84 collected approximately 1,548 pounds of food from the community, which was then donated to help stock the food pantry at East Lincoln Christian Ministry to help feed those in need during the summer months. The effort was part of Boy Scouts of America’s Scouting for Food campaign, in which local troops leave bags for their neighbors to fill with canned food items before returning one week later to collect the donated items.
