DENVER – East Lincoln High students and their families and friends celebrated graduation June 8 at the high school. The event included the presenting students with diplomas as well as speeches from Principal Marybeth Avery, Senior Class President Ramiro Martinez-Jaime, Salutatorian Sierra Gilley and Valedictorian Emily Stolzenbach.

The Class of 2018 by the numbers:

Size of class: 225

Scholarships received:$6,226,260

Seniors planning to attend a four-year college: 46 percent

Seniors planning to attend a community college, technical institute or trade, business or nursing school: 39 percent

Seniors planning to join the military: 5 percent

Seniors planning to immediately enter the workforce: 10 percent
