Carl Thomas Pulley

DENVER – Carl Thomas Pulley Sr., 91, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at his residence.

He was born April 21, 1926, in Brunswick County, to the late Robert and Polly Smith Pulley.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Continental Trailways.

He was preceded in death by his brother, R.L. Pulley, and sisters, Maxine Black and Emily Love.

Survivors include his wife, Annis Willowghby Pulley; daughter, Melanie Covington and husband, Tim; son, Tommy Pulley Jr.; brothers, Jimmy Pulley and wife, Pickens, and Bobby Pulley and wife, Bobbi; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were held Oct. 27 at Denver Baptist Church.

Margaret Livermore Lindow

DENVER – Margaret “Peggy” Livermore Lindow, 85, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, at Stanley Total Living Center.

She was born on April 26, 1932, in Triangle, N.Y., to the late Merton Jay and Emma Ryder Livermore. 

She worked for the Broome-Tioga BOCES School System.

She was preceded in death by her son, Clifford “Bud” Lindow; sister, Ruth Forkey; and brothers, Jay, Russell and Asa Livermore. 

Survivors include her husband, Bernard Lindow; children, Terry “Lee” Lindow, Nancy David and husband, Mike, Lana Dean and husband, Terry, and David Lindow and wife, Sherry; sisters, Ada Bryan and Emma Livermore; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Yvonne Rose Totzke

DENVER – Yvonne Rose Totzke, 80, died Oct. 20, 2017.

She was born May 17, 1937, in Chicago to the late Raymond Julian and Helen Lightheart.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck Totzke; sons, Wade and wife, Sue Ellen, and Walt Totzke; and daughter, Sharon Scott and husband, Tom; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
