LDS latter-day

Women and girls from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gathered  to watch the General Women’s Broadcast in 2016. The church has changed its service schedule.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the greater Lake Norman area and across the world began the New Year with a two-hour Sunday meeting schedule, replacing the previous three-hour block.

The new schedule was created to achieve “a new balance between gospel instruction in the home and in the Church,” church leaders said in a statement.

It includes a 60-minute sacrament meeting, a 10-minute transition, and a 50-minute class period.

The local LDS church is at 7032 McIlwaine Road in Huntersville.
