Computerworld ranked MSC Industrial Supply Co. No. 41 among large organizations on the list of best places to work in information technology.

With corporate offices in Davidson, the Melville, N.Y.,-based company distributes metalworking and maintenance, repair and operations supplies to industrial customers throughout North America.

Davidson Playhouse re-opening

DAVIDSON – Davidson Playhouse is holding a grand re-opening open house Saturday, July 14 at the store, 228-A Caldwell Lane.

The event from 9 a.m. to noon will have a raffle for several prizes, along with a special guest character appearance around 10 a.m.

Each child will get a take home a goodie (while supplies last) during the free event. 

Everyone who “checks in” to the event on Facebook while it’s occurring and shows proof will receive an extra raffle ticket.

The store closed in early June and is now owned by Dahlia Crater and her family.

“We were very excited to be able to purchase it and keep it open as it is such a beloved kids play space in Davidson,” Crater said in an email.
