Ruby Helms Honeycutt

HUNTERSVILLE – Ruby Helms Honeycutt, 79, died May 23, 2019, at Northeast Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 20, 1940, in Stanley County to the late C.P. and Minnie Helms.

She was preceded in death by seven siblings and a grandson, Jordan Lee Hoke.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Honeycutt; daughters, Tammy Hoke and husband, Steve, and Barbara McCollum and husband, Jeff; siblings, Roy Helms and Ramelle Hartsell; and four grandchildren.

Services were held May 26 at Rockwell Baptist Church in Mooresville.

Raymond Wayne Stutts

DAVIDSON – Raymond Wayne Stutts, 52, died May 22, 2019.

He was born Nov. 18, 1966, in Huntersville to the late William and Jenny Wilson Stutts.

He worked as a welder.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Gay Stutts; son, Kyle Stutts; daughter, Brandy Stutts; stepdaughters, Misty Laws and Brittany Bouknight; brother, Billy Stutts; sister, Shellie Reid; and seven grandchildren.

Paul Leander Moore

HUNTERSVILLE – Paul Leander Moore, 76, died May 22, 2019.

He was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Mooresville to the late Olin Leander Moore and Clara Bell Griffin Moore.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mabel Louise Puckett, and daughter, Cynthia Jean Moore.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jean Hager Moore; son, Michael Paul Moore and wife, Mary; brothers, Howard William Moore and Richard “Ricky” Moore; sister, Shirley Ann Moore Davis; and two grandsons.

Services were held May 25 at Centerpointe Baptist Church.

James Monroe Luckey

HUNTERSVILLE – James Monroe Luckey, 64, died May 21, 2019, at his residence.

He was born May 23, 1954, to James Sample Luckey and the late Mary Frances Gardner Luckey.

He worked in sales at TNT Fleet Supply in Charlotte.

Survivors include his father; brother, Edward Luckey; son, Michael Brandon Luckey; and daughter, Carrie Marie Luckey; and sister, Doris Luckey Parker and husband, Kim, of Huntersville.

Barbara Frazier Kerr

HUNTERSVILLE – Barbara Frazier Kerr, 80, died May 20, 2019.

She was born Sept. 5, 1938, to James and Mildred Malcolm Frazier.

She ran Piedmont Grading with her husband, Larry, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Wayne Kerr Jr., Robert “Lore” Kerr and wife, Tina, both of Huntersville; daughter, Teresa Ann Kerr; sisters; Nancy Baucom and Becky Thompson and husband, Charles; and five grandchildren.

Services were held May 23 at Hopewell Presbyterian Church.

Shu Man Wu Chi

HUNTERSVILLE – Shu Man Wu Chi, 74, died May 20, 2019.

She was born Dec. 23, 1944, in Taiwan.

Survivors include her daughter, Chris Liu and son-in-law, Louis Liu; son, Tim Chi and daughter-in-law, Son Young Chi; and three grandchildren.
