Makes me ill that you published a “peeved” about the gymnastics abuses. One - if this reader had actually informed themselves of the case they would have read that often parents were in the room when the good “dr” was abusing the victims. Two - do not blame the victims! Other than the esteem…

The article touting how the new 45 minute HFFA Strong classes have become their most popular programs was laughable.  As a decade long member who loved the challenging and creative workouts from the original trainers, the program is already becoming stale.  The truth is that it is only a 30 …

Congratulations on the merging of the two weekly newspapers. It makes sense. But peeved, dismayed, and sad to see the Super Crossword didn’t make the cut. I hope you will reconsider adding it to our new publication.

I am peeved when trying to leave my neighborhood only to find runners taking up the whole lane in my path. No one would move over or use the sidewalk. We could go around some of them from time to time if no cars were coming. Saw no signs warning us of this...just orange cones dividing the la…

Perhaps before criticizing the planned Festival Street and Arts Center, you could educate yourself about how this benefits the Town. The Arts Center has already increased interest in economic development in downtown - isn’t that a good thing? A lot of us are pretty darn excited about the new…

Nobody feels oppressed by the national anthem itself, you simpleton. They’re protesting injustice at the hands of law enforcement in the country which that national anthem represents. Try again.

It is NOT necessary to have the ‘crime’ information with names e some times also pictures of those people who had been in trouble regarding traffic laws and small police stops.  So embaracing! Stop this exposition of ‘shame’.

The unswer for ‘why a person opens fire to a group of people’ is, because we do have the ‘freedom’!!!!! Praying and vigil for those victims will not change their dead!!!

Who do we have to make nice with to get some correctly functioning traffic signals on Gilead Rd.? The light at 21 is on a poorly timed cycle from the 70’s and single handily backs up traffic throughout town. Are sensors not available that recognize where cars are for this and the Reece Blvd.…

From the idiotic M-I purchase pushed by mayor woods which has cost the town $11 million $ thus far with no possibility of ever making a profit, to the town board last year taking an unnecessary $12,000 retreat and upon returning voting themselves a raise.  Then ignoring (3 of 5) public opini…

Why do we not get “recycled” garbage pick up every week instead of every other week? If the town is truly concerned about recycling, it would be picked up every week instead of trying to remember if it’s this week or next week! Sometimes if we forget, it just gets thrown in the garbage!

I’m a Huntersville resident and supporter of local non-profits. I am astonished that Senator Jeff Tarte would find $200,000 for only one area non-profit and one that was started by someone who is with a publication that is supposed to objectively write about him and others! And then Rep. Bra…

It's cruel to whet our appetite with Elle's Kitchen rhubarb pie recipe when rhubarb is so hard to grow here and good quality is hard to find in stores. I'm lucky my Iowa mom packs a small cooler of her rhubarb crop each year and sends it to me. There is nothing like good rhubarb delicacies!

Re. article in April 7-13 paper: I, too, live in Huntersville and have also noticed the many planes that now fly over our home. I wonder how many Huntersville homes are affected by this. Unless it is due to a temporary change in the flight pattern, it will lower the resale value of our homes…

Being loud is a right? The first amendment does not “allow” you to be loud.  You have the right to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for redress of grievances under the first amendment.  You can think you are “allowed” to be loud, rude, destructive, ill-behave and intimidate…
