Robbins Park Cornelius

A survey to collect public opinion on the Robbins Park Master Plan is available on the Cornelius town website.

CORNELIUS – People can share their thoughts about a few proposed projects for the town.

Duke Energy has proposed to fund and create a recreation access area for canoeing, kayaking or fishing on Lake Cornelius. The survey closes Feb. 23.

The Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture Department staff are working on an update for the Robbins Park Master Plan and want to know more about what the community wants. A survey is up through March 19.

Town rolls out newsletter, new Twitter account

CORNELIUS – In continued efforts to improve communication and transparency, the Town of Cornelius has initiated a new newsletter and Twitter account.

People can sign up for the monthly email, Cornelius Crossroads, by going to the town’s website, www.cornelius.org.

For more up-to-the-minute updates on detours, service changes, emergencies and other urgent information, people can follow @Cornelius_311 on Twitter. For those who don’t use that social media platform, all of the information can also be found on the town’s website.
