Mt. Zion proposes senior housing

Mt. Zion United Methodist Church is hosting Sing-Spiration this month.

CORNELIUS – Mount Zion United Methodist Church will be hosting this month’s Sing-Spiration at 6 p.m. July 29.

First Baptist of Cornelius, Union Bethel AME Zion and Bethel Presbyterian will be partnering with Mount Zion for this event, which held its first concert in April. It will be a service of singing, as each church will present two anthems, and Mount Zion will also sing a few congregational hymns.

Following the sharing of music, a short reception will follow in the Family Life Center.

Mount Zion members who are planning to attend are encouraged to bring a finger-food dish to share. The plan is to rotate host churches every fifth Sunday.

There is no charge to attend.

Mount Zion UMC is at 19600 Zion Ave.
