Cooks at Chilibrew will battle it out Feb. 16 as a panel of judges picks the three tastiest entries. 

MOUNT HOLLY – Chilibrew is set for Saturday, Feb. 16, in the Grand Hall of the Mount Holly Municipal Complex.

Cooks will battle it out as a panel of judges picks the tastiest three entries. A People’s Choice Award also will be handed out.

Admission also includes sides, dessert, tea and water. Craft and domestic beer will be available for purchase.

Anthony Scruggs will provide musical entertainment.

Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door, and $5 for children younger than 12.

The event, hosted by the Mount Holly Community Development Foundation, is a fundraiser for Mount Holly Greenway amenities. Visit www.mounthollyfoundation.org for more information.

Men Who Cook raise scholarship funds

The Mount Holly Rotary Club will host the 23rd annual “Men Who Cook” fundraiser Sunday, Feb. 24, in the Grand Hall of the Mount Holly Municipal Complex.

Proceeds will go to fund scholarships for college seniors.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. They are available at www.rotarymountholly.com, or may be purchased at the door.
