The City of Mount Holly held its annual Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony Nov. 28 in downtown. Among the participants were representatives from local police departments and sheriff's offices, the Mount Holly Tourism Development Authority, Man and Woman of the Year Steve Painter and Glenda Painter, city council members, Mayor Bryan Hough, Gaston County commissioners, students from local schools, baseball teams, a variety of local businesses, Santa and others.
