Miss May’s Elegant Tea

What: A tea party honoring Miss May Davidson, benefactress of the Rural Hill Cultural Center. Dress in your tea finery – hats are encouraged, gloves are optional. Light hors d’oeuvres, along with teas and lemonade, will be served. Proceeds support Historic Rural Hill.

Labor Day Celebration

What: The U.S. National Whitewater Center celebrates Labor Day with activities, music, and races await all weekend long. Saturday morning kicks off the festivities with The Dry Tri, followed by All Levels Flow Yoga, the Aqua Rock Deep Water Solo Climbing Competition and of course, River Jam in the evening. A firework display after sunset on Sunday caps off the celebration.
