MOORESVILLE – Cozy Boutique is now open in town.
The shop, 1098 Brawley School Road, features clothing, accessories and home goods. Owner Leslie Crab is a mom of three girls who feels it is important to be a positive role model and aims to teach her children the values of independence and ownership.
“We feel so blessed to be here and look forward to being an active part of this amazing community,” Crab said in a press release. “My husband, daughters and I plan to build this business together.”
The shop is open every day now through December for holiday shopping.

Chamber events scheduled
MOORESVILLE – The Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce has several upcoming events.
• The Business Before Hours will be held 8-9:30 a.m. Nov. 13 at Victory Lanes, 125 Morlake Road. The event includes a hot breakfast buffet, coffee, juices, prizes and more.
• Temperature Pro hosts a Business After Hours. The event takes place 5-7 p.m. Nov. 13 at the business, 131 Overhill Drive.
• Member orientation for all members takes place 8:30-10 a.m. Nov. 14 at 149 E. Iredell Ave. The meeting includes a review of the programs and benefits of chamber membership.

Free small business workshop to be held
MOORESVILLE – A free small business workshop will be held in Mooresville called “Understanding the four behavioral styles to help business owners increase sales and working relationships.” The event takes place 8:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14at the Mitchell Community College Mooresville Campus.
It is aimed to teach participants to identify the four styles of communication, use that knowledge to increase profits, incorporate the three modalities to increase sales and results, equip teams to work together more effectively and increase customer satisfaction ratings and reviews.
