MOORESVILLE – A German manufacturer of woodworking machinery has opened its American headquarters in Mooresville.
Altendorf Group America Inc. now occupies more than 7,000 square feet of space on Oates Road in the Lakefield Corporate Center. The Mooresville facility will house the company’s management team, a warehouse and showroom.

Altendorf, which specializes in tools for manual operations in the woodworking industry worldwide, is known for its sliding table saws, which its founder invented in 1906, according to the company.
