MOORESVILLE – Tina Lynn Campbell, 50, died June 10, 2018.

She was born July 22, 1967, in Statesville to Doris Ann Harris Eudy and the late Terry Anderson Eudy.

She worked as an administrative professional in the financial industry.

Survivors include her mother; sister, Stephanie Harrington and husband, Danny, and their children “Katy Bug” and Evan.

Services were held June 13 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home chapel.

David Wayne Clubb

MOORESVILLE – David Wayne Clubb, 50, died June 8, 2018.

He was born Nov. 9, 1967, in Mooresville to Patricia Lindsay Clubb and the late Jesse James Clubb.

Clubb was owner of Race City Roofing and was a fishing guide for Captain Clubb’s Guide Service.

He is survived by his wife, Tess Williams Clubb; sons, Michael Hobbs and Steven Hobbs and wife, Chloe Freeze; brother, Jesse J. Clubb Jr., and wife, Amy, of Mooresville; sister, Rebecca Morris and husband, Raymond; and five grandchildren.

Services were held June 12 at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home chapel.

Jean Bullard Shirhall Tucker

MOORESVILLE – Jean Bullard Shirhall Tucker, 89, died June 8, 2018, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

She was born Oct.12, 1928, in Charlotte to the late Robert and Sarah Bullard.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Shirhall and Johnny "Pete" Tucker; siblings, Megan Coon, Roberta Meeks, Jackie Sparks and Boyd Bullard; and a grandson.

Survivors include her children, Frances Crosby, of Mooresville and Timothy Shirhall and wife, Denise; stepson, Mike Tucker and wife, Teresa; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Services were June 10 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with a graveside service June 11 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Charlotte.

Richard Dean Boles

MOORESVILLE – Richard Dean Boles, 63, died June 7, 2018, at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.

He was born June 2, 1955, in Winston-Salem to the late Charles “Chuck” Richard Boles and Helen Dean Boles Reynolds.

He was a television producer and retired as a caseworker for the State of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, B. F. “Frank” Reynolds and friend, Gary Murray.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Boles; sister, Susan Hale and husband, Robert, of Mooresville; mother-in-law, Joann Summerhill; sisters-in-law, Kandra Parks and husband, David, and Sandra Platt and husband, Jeff; brother-in-law, Kyle Summerhill and wife, Dawn; half-sister, Karen Boles Fulton and husband, Mark; half-brother, David Boles; and two grandchildren.

Services were to be held at a later date.

Aliene Curtis Benfield

MOORESVILLE – Aliene Curtis Benfield, 85, died June 7, 2018, at her residence.

She was born on Oct. 6, 1932, in Mooresville to the late Joseph Finley Curtis and Harriett Parsons Curtis.

She retired from Burlington Industries.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Benfield; sisters, Artie Mae Marlowe, Julie Smith and Nina Cole; brothers, George, Ray and Sevonne Curtis; and step-children, Rudy and Kelly Benfield.

Survivors include her children, Rhonda Buckner and husband, Mike, Gary Witherspoon and wife, Cathy, and Rickey Witherspoon and wife, Carol; stepchildren, Kenny Benfield and wife, Ann, Barry Benfield and wife, Ann, Gloria Wilhelm, Beverly Walker and Sissy “Michelle” Benfield; sister, Lavone Payne; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.

Services were held June 11 at Liberty Baptist Church.

Douglas Anthony Samut

MOORESVILLE – Douglas Anthony Samut, 64, of Mooresville, died Friday, June 1, 2018.

He was born on Aug. 31, 1953, in New Jersey to the late Anthony Samut and Ruth Frederick Samut.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Samut.

He is survived by his fiancée, Shirley Hager; stepchildren, Lonnie Hager and spouse, Dan, Angela Newhouse and husband, Greg, Crystal Taylor and husband, Scott, and Robert Garris; siblings, Barbara Golla, Cal Samut and wife, Colynn, Linda Zaklukiewcz and husband, Ed, Paul Samut, Nancy Zupancic and husband, John, and Gloria Samut; and five step-grandchildren.

Services were held June 7 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
