Sidewalk project extended through March

MOORESVILLE – Both of Iredell County’s public school districts reported five-year lows when it comes to dropout data recently released by the state.Iredell-Statesville Schools reported 141 high school dropouts in 2011-12, down from the 159 reported in 2010-11. Work on Kelly Street sidewalk project to begin

MOORESVILLE – Bullseye Construction Inc. won a $278,000 contract from the town to begin work on the Kelly Street sidewalk project.The work will consist of constructing concrete sidewalks, drives and wheelchair ramps, curbs and gutters, asphalt pavement and drives and storm drains along 1,900 feet of Kelly Street.The project is expected to take four months.
