Christina Latini’s life and spirit inspired her parents, Greg and Regina, to give to needy children after she died in May 2016 from a rare heart condition. Regina said the charity has been a positive distraction allowing the couple to use their grief for a purpose.

Todd Wolfram is opening the third Pita Pit restaurant location in downtown Cornelius by the end of February or beginning of March. Wolfram said he thinks the chain’s focus on healthy fare is going to “explode” in the Lake Norman area.
