DENVER – The recent winter weather proved to be a perfect opportunity for a Denver family to dip into their creativity – and inner eskimo.
Shaylee Ulrich got the assistance of several neighborhood children when her family began to build an igloo following the snow earlier this week at their Sailview home. With helpers as young as age 6, they spent seven hours making bricks and slush to hold it together. The finished product – the first Ulrich had ever made – includes a slide, and it even glows.
Though the igloo was temporary, the truly wintery weather will continue into this coming weekend, with a chance for some more snow Friday night.
