The Lincoln Charter boys and girls swim teams won the 1A/2A West Regional Championships Feb. 1.
Chloe Harris was part of all four of the girls’ championship performances, including the 100-yard butterfly and 100 backstroke. Madeline Carey was on the winning 200 medley relay team, the second-place 200 freestyle relay then took third in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
The boys got big days in the pool by Zack Whipple, Neal Stratton and Blake Nelson. Whipple won the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly and was part of the 400 freestyle relay with Nelson, Stratton Nelson and Mitchell Swicegood.
Alex Givens won the 1-meter diving competition with 437.1 points.
East Lincoln’s Devin Poteat turned in two third-place finishes in the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.
