MOORESVILLE – Reid Davis Goodman, 55, died Sept. 18, 2021.
He was born Aug. 20, 1966, in Mooresville to June Staton Goodman and the late Oscar R. Goodman.
He retired from the N.C. Forest Service and later from the Schiele Museum and HVAC Heating & Air.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Walter Staton and Theron and Bonnie Goodman.
Survivors include his mother; sister, Chris Goodman Shaver and husband, Dennis; and special friend, Kim Ammons.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at Prospect Presbyterian Church.

MOORESVILLE – Alice Berneice Raynor Carlisle, 94, died Sept. 18, 2021, at the Mitchell Mack Hospice House.
She was born Oct. 20, 1926, in Franklinton to the late Albert and Alice Tart Raynor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Carlisle; and a step-grandson, Todd Allen.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Porter and husband, Gary, Vicky Swicegood and husband, Ken, Judy Roberts and husband, Keith; step-daughter, Jeanette Allen; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
MOORESVILLE – James Edward Kinahan, 83, died Sept. 16, 2021.
He was born Nov. 14, 1937, to the late James Henry Kinahan and Mary Ellen Dunphy Kinahan.
He retired from the city of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., as a bus driver.
Survivors include his wife, Corrine Quinn Kinahan; sons, Sean Kinahan and wife, Susan, Robert Kinahan and wife, Jennifer; daughters, Rose Parascandola and husband, Jimmy, Colleen Mazzara and Michael Mazzara; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.

MOORESVILLE – Paul W. Streeter, 75, died Sept. 13, 2021.
He was born March 15, 1946, in Battle Creek, Mich., to the late Kenneth and Winifred Streeter.
He worked for several Fortune 500 companies before starting his own business in 1986 and serving on the Our Towns Habitat board.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalind “Roz” Streeter; siblings, Joan Moss and husband, Al, and George Streeter and wife, Jan; daughters, Tamilyn Derryberry and partner, Thomas, Cristina Batkin and husband, Drew, and Tia Streeter; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Davidson United Methodist Church.

She was born Jan. 11, 1930, in Iredell County to the late John and Fannie Reid Blackwelder.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, John Blackwelder, Lucy Phifer, Nellie Parker and Reid Blackwelder.
Survivors include her daughters, Talma Williams, Vickie Patterson and husband, Freddie, Jean Crotty and husband, Patrick, Sheila Johnston and husband, Donald; sister, Sarah Cecile; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 9 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.

MOORESVILLE – Frances Brown Sipes, 80, died Sept. 7, 2021.
She was born Aug. 13, 1941, in Mooresville to the late JD and Annie Hucks Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leon Sipes; son, Warren Sipes; brothers, Bud Brown and wife, Sue, JD Brown and wife, Marilyn, David Brown and wife, Sheila; sisters, Bobbie Ervin and husband, Kenneth, Dot Sexton and husband, Tex, and Betty Mae Brown.
Survivors include her children, Robert Sipes and partner, Deb, Michael Sipes and wife, Deborah, Annette Davis and husband, Jack, Rhonda Kendrick and husband, Scott, Alan Sipes and wife, Tammy, and Kelly Huffman and husband, Jeff; sister, Judy Cooke and husband, Larry; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 10 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with burial at Glenwood Memorial Park.
