North Meck will have three representatives in the N.C. East-West All-Star Basketball Game for graduating seniors this summer.

Guards Jordan Crawford and Davion Cunningham were selected to the West Men’s team, which will be coached by the Vikings’ Duane Lewis. This winter, North won the Queen City 3A/4A tournament championship and advanced to the 4A West finals, and College of Charleston signee Crawford was named All-State.

Also playing with former I-Meck foes is Mooresville’s K.C. Shaw. The 6-foot-4 guard led the Blue Devils with 20.3 points and 9.8 rebounds last season when he was named Greater Metro 4 Player of the Year.

Lake Norman is represented on the Women’s West team too. Lake Norman High center Aly Wadkovsky is on the roster, while North Lincoln coach Brad Mangum will man the sidelines. Wadkovsky, an Elon signee, averaged 11.9 points and 8.3 rebounds last season.

The games will be held July 11 in Greensboro in conjunction with the N.C. Coaching Clinic and the other three all-star games. Boys and girls soccer follows the next day and football is on July 13.
