Tickets now available for Ada Jenkins benefit

DAVIDSON – Tickets are on sale for the Ada Jenkins Center’s Music For Good fundraiser to be held Tuesday, Oct. 5, at BoatYard Lake Norman in Cornelius.

Presented by headline sponsor the Davidson Village Inn and the Vine Society, Music for Good will celebrate community support of the nonprofit Ada Jenkins Center and its work to alleviate food and housing insecurity for area families in need. 

Tickets are $100 per person and available, along with additional information about the event, at adajenkins.org/events/musicforgood. Music for Good is open to those 21 and older, and tickets must be purchased before the event.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with complimentary food stations and a cash bar, and the music starts at 6:15. Performing groups will include Mo Money, providing acoustic groove and jazz, followed by Southside Station, a group specializing in modern country rock enhanced with a fiddle, banjo and mandolin.

Comedian Andy Forrester is the host/emcee for the evening. 

Guests are invited to “come as you are,” wearing whatever feels most comfortable.

The Ada Jenkins Center, located in Davidson, provides a wide range of health, social work, employment, financial, food supply and adult education services for north Mecklenburg residents.
